Maryann Schulz moved to Sitka, AK and lives a new adventure on a boat. Hiking and learning her new life style occupies her energies at this time. Her paintings on this site were created in Texas. A self taught artist she combined realism and impressionism in her work to create a feeling with the many facets of nature providing inspiration.
Her accomplishments include awards in the Brenham Fine Arts League Annual Juried Art Show, 1994/1999 and the Juror's Award in the Brazos Valley Art League 1998 Spring Juried Art Show. Her work is owned and enjoyed by private individuals and collectors.
Sitka, the harbor and Alaska are impressing their wonder and beauty on Maryann so that eventually she will communicate these in drawing and painting.
